The Seiko Prospex Diver Scuba Perpetual Calendar SBCM series watch was introduced in 2003. Water-resistant to 200 meters, it houses the 8F35 quartz movement with perpetual calendar function.

Smaller in size in comparison with other Seiko scuba divers, its case measures 39mm in diameter and 12.0mm in thickness. With the help of unidirectional rotating bezel, the owner can measure elapsed time during diving (up to 60 minutes).

This stainless steel scuba diving model exists in four following versions:

  • SBCM023: Black dial, black bezel, and steel bracelet
  • SBCM025: Black dial, red and blue Pepsi bezel, and steel bracelet
  • SBCM027: Black dial, red and blue Pepsi bezel, and black rubber strap
  • SBCM029: Orange dial, black bezel, and black rubber strap

The Seiko Prospex Diver 200m Perpetual Calendar watch comes with a Hardlex glass, screw-down crown at 4H, and solid, stainless steel screw-in case-back. The black dial hosts Lumibright applied hands and hour markers for enhanced visibility in the darkness. Above the 6 o’clock hour marker, the dial features the texts PERPETUAL CALENDAR in white and SCUBA 200m in red.

The Seiko Prospex Diver Scuba Perpetual Calendar watch displays the date at 3 o’clock. The date mechanism of Seiko 8F35 quartz calibre is perpetual in nature and once set, the calendar automatically adjusts for odd and even months including February of leap years up to February 28, 2100. This quartz movement has a high frequency rate for 196,608 Hz. Its battery (CR2412) has an approximate battery life of eight years.

Two models (SBCM025 and SBCM027) have Pepsi (red and blue) bezels and the remaining two comes with black bezel. Depending upon the model, the watch features a stainless steel bracelet or black rubber strap.
