Introduced in 2000, this exceptional mechanical watch from PATEK PHILIPPE is equipped with an innovative Universal Time complication that simultaneously displays local time and the time in the world’s 24 time zones. Fitted with an original mechanism with two patents registered, it has the double advantage of being user-friendly and easy to read. The dial comprises two disks, one for the names of 24 cities, the other for 24 hours with a day and night indicator. The engine-turned opaline inner dial boasts yellow gold applique hour markers.
Carrying Poinçon de Genève certification, the automatic 240/188 calibre features a mini rotor in 22-carat gold. The 18 carat yellow gold case, which is fitted sapphire crystal case back, is water-resistant to 25 m. The PATEK PHILIPPE Heure Universelle is also available in 750 (18K) pink or white gold and 950 platinum versions.
