Launched in 2005, this ladies jewellery watch is a part of Omegamania, the breathtaking jewellery collection inspired by Omega’s famous symbol – Ω – the last letter in the Greek alphabet.
Suffixing the brand name with “mania” suggests an almost overzealous passion for Omega, but it is a term that fits perfectly with the outspoken design of this timepiece. Whilst the brand’s other jewellery collections took their design inspiration from the Omega Constellation watches, it is actually the jewellery collection itself that in this case provides the design focus for the watch, which is based on the Greek letter that symbolises accomplishment and perfection.

The 27mm x 27.7mm case with Ω shape is available in polished 18-carat red or white gold set with 41 diamonds (0.87 ct). Both versions are available with a white, black or red mother-of-pearl dial bearing merely a subtle Omega symbol and name and sleek Baguette-style hands. A polished white, black or red calfskin strap is available with matching 18-carat red or white gold buckle. A large facetted scratch-resistant sapphire crystal adds to the unusual look of the watch.
The Omegamania is powered by the Omega quartz calibre 4000, which has a battery lifetime of 49 months. In the absence of a crown, a special stylus is supplied with the watch for adjusting the hour and minute hands by means of a push-piece at 3 o’clock on the side of the case. Water resistance of this timepiece is up to 30 metres.
