Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph 35mm Jewellery

Introduced in 2004, the De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph 35mm jewellery model’s case is transformed by the sparkle of diamonds, with 42 diamonds set on the bezel (1.68 ct), 12 baguette diamonds employed as hour markers (0.42 ct) and an original minute circle consisting of 44 diamonds (0.044 ct). These diamonds sparkle against the background of a zoned white mother-of-pearl dial on gold base with overlaid mother-of-pearl counters. As with all models in the 2004 jewellery watch collection, this special Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph also has a ruby cabochon set into the crown.

Despite its distinctive look, the jewellery model nevertheless retains certain unmistakable De Ville Co-Axial characteristics, such as the distinctive stainless-steel case derived from the top-of-the-range Central Tourbillon model, with a high attention to detail evidenced by the grooves on the underside of the pushers. The facetted, diamond-polished alpha hands with luminous SuperLuminova inserts are also found on all models, as are the blued-steel central chronographs seconds hand with counterweight and the blued-steel hands for the 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters.

The De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph 35mm jewellery model uses the high-end calibre 3313 self-winding chronograph movement. In addition to the proven combination of the Omega Co-Axial Escapement with the free sprung-balance, which offers greater regulating stability, the chronograph mechanism is equipped with a column wheel: a ratchet wheel with columns that govern the precision operation of various levers for the chronograph functions.

As a prestige movement, the OMEGA calibre 3313 naturally has an exclusive finish with circular graining, Geneva wave decoration, rhodium-plated surfaces and gold-plated engravings, as well as a blued-steel centre screw – all visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. The movement’s precision is attested by its chronometer certificate issued by the official Swiss chronometer testing institute COSC. It has a power reserve of 55 hours.

The jewellery model is rounded off by a white alligator leather strap that combines perfectly with the white mother-of-pearl dial to accentuate the diamonds. Like all Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph models, it is water resistant to 100 metres.
