Introduced in 2003, the De Ville Co-Axial 44mm models in red gold offer a traditional and elegant interpretation of the classic big watch. Both models feature polished 18-carat red gold version of the De Ville Co-Axial case, with its classic lines and distinctive lugs inspired by the OMEGA models of the Fifties.
Both models boast traditional watchmaking design on their dials: the first is a limited-edition version with a white enamel dial adorned with 12 Arabic numerals painted in black and the limited-series number printed on the dial in red; the second has an opaline dial with 12 applied red gold hour markers, applied OMEGA symbol and name and a sequential number on the dial.
Both watches have the characteristic diamond-polished and facetted skeleton Alpha hands of the De Ville Co-Axial line, in 18-carat red gold with luminous Super Luminova inserts. The prestige look is completed by a blued-steel seconds hand and encased behind a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside.
This exclusive timepiece is rounded off by the medallion of the god of time, Chronos, stamped on the case back in relief. The case back screws in to ensure water resistance to 100 metres, with an OMEGA double-gasket crown that keeps water out of the watch even when pulled out into the time-setting position.
Both models were offered exclusively with a brown alligator leather strap with an 18-carat red gold fold over clasp with pushbutton fastener. Production of the limited-edition model with the white enamel dial was strictly limited to 333 pieces, numbered on the dial from 001/333 to 333/333.
