Throughout its 50-year history, the Omega Constellation has evolved at an unstoppable pace. Always up-to-date with the latest fashions, yet ever the timeless classic, its unique appeal makes its one of the best-selling watches in the world and a cornerstone in the Omega collection.
Launched in 2004, the Constellation Quadrella featuring a smooth tonneau shaped case offer a combination of the classic Constellation attributes and a highly distinctive new look. The name Quadrella recalls both the quadrilateral shape of the case and the four “claws” that surround the on all Constellation models.
The Constellation Quadrella model accentuates its Constellation heritage with 48 diamonds adorning these claws. Measuring 25mm by 32mm, the case is the perfect size for the female wrist and the dials in white or black mother-of-pearl only serve to underscore the watch’s strong feminine character.
In addition to the characteristic claws, the Quadrella also has all the other touches that make a Constellation, such as Roman numerals printed on the dial and two half-moon facets on the case that provide an elegant transition from watch case to the matching polished stainless-steel bracelet.
Rhodium-plated feuille hands complete this look, which is protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside. Like all Omega watches, the Quadrella benefits from a robust construction and high-quality standards that guarantee its water resistance, in this case to 30 metres thanks to a case back sealed with screws.
The two models with black or white mother-of-pearl dials were complemented by a highly original model whose white mother-of-pearl dial is set with a dazzling array of precious stones: 2 rubies, 2 emeralds, 2 blue sapphires and 2 citrines.
