The impressive 44 mm Montblanc Sport Chronograph Tantalum Automatic features a case made of the extremely tough and corrosion-proof metal tantalum, which is enclosed by a bezel of 18 carat red gold. The knurled chronograph pusher, as well as the crown studded with the Montblanc star are also made of solid red gold.
The technical features are just as sophisticated: thanks to the screwed case back and a special automatic helium valve, the COSC-certified high-frequency automatic movement with 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour precisely displays the time even under extreme conditions of up to 30 bar (300 m water depth).
The scratch-proof and coated sapphire crystal protects a black watch dial with illuminated indices, stop seconds, 30-minute and 2-hour totaliser, as well as a date indication at 3 O’clock. And the unidirectional bezel with 60-minute scale prevents any unintentional yet life-threatening extension of the time set for a dive.
