Launched in 2008 as the part of OMEGA Olympic Timeless Collection to celebrate the Beijing Olympics, this Seamaster Planet Ocean Co-Axial Chronograph features white Arabic numerals, rhodium-plated hour and minute hands and chronograph recorder hands on a semi-matt black dial protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
Its distinctive Olympic look is highlighted by coloured Olympic Rings that form the counterweight of the chronograph seconds hand. Its status as a divers’ watch is accentuated by the robust case, the unidirectional rotating stainless-steel bezel, the helium escape valve and water resistance to 600 meters / 2000 feet guaranteed by a screw-in crown and case back.
The sporty look of the Omega Beijing Oympic Games Seamaster Planet Ocean chronograph is enhanced by the integrated rubber strap and stainless steel fold-over clasp. Its performance is guaranteed by the OMEGA calibre 3313 movement, which features a Co-Axial escapement and free-sprung balance— technology exclusive to OMEGA that enables greater precision and stability over time.
This self-winding OMEGA chronograph movement is a certified chronometer and uses a column-wheel chronograph mechanism.
