The Hour Glass and Hublot SA has joined hands in the name of charity, launching “Project F Bang”, an original collaboration between the Swiss luxury watch brand, its exclusive retailer and local charity organization, Make A Wish Foundation.
The Hour Glass, an exclusive distributor of Hublot timepieces in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, has committed to support the projects of the Foundation, whose objective is to help grant the wishes of children with life threatening illness, with the noble cause of bringing them some joy, hope and strength during the difficult period of their lives.
Hublot has always been an advocate of social messages, with its various charity projects around the world, for instance, the Aryton Senna watch, named after the Foundation that the late F1 driver created to bring education to deprived children from the slums of Brazil. The launch of Hublot’s « Project F Bang » and dedicated to Singapore’s first F1 race, provided a perfect opportunity to marry a social message and to mark a momentuous occasion.
“Project F Bang” is the world’s first Split Second-Hand Chronograph with a left hand crown and pushers. Targeted to be launched during the inaugural Singapore F1 Race with the assistance of Singapore Motor GP, the watch will be produced in a limited quantity of 100 pieces.
The watch features the famous 44.5mm Big Bang All Black case with red kevlar on the side of the case and oreille. The all black dial will have the 12 o’clock hour indicated in red with the split-second hand alternating in red and white, the Singapore national colours. Both the pushers and crown are in black with red kevlar inserts.
