Swiss watch brand Oris expands its BC4 collection of pilot watches by introducing the new BC4 Chronograph and Pointer Day models in stainless steel.
The black dials and elegant white numerals are chic; the red markers for the date, days and minutes are bold. The intriguing three date display at 3 o’clock calls to mind the scrolling numbers of flight instruments.
The repeated presence of the striking small second display at 9 o’clock shows consistency and reliability. This also appears on the Oris BC4 Flight Timer – the third member of the collection.
The Chronograph is a watch made for action. As the seconds, minutes and hours are counted you’ll see how time really flies.
The Pointer Day is a 21st century take on the traditional and beloved Oris original. Both models are protected by the Oris Quick Lock Crown system – a parachute to help avoid accidental adjustment.
The case design of both models is based on the shape of a flight instrument, and the soft, stitched, gaucho leather strap and clasp look exactly like an aircraft seatbelt.
