Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Trophee

Introduced in 2005, the limited edition Aerodyn Trophee timepiece by Dubey & Schaldenbrand is equipped with a barrel-shaped calibre with sweep seconds-hand.

The Swiss made AURORE 19 mechanical calibre (8-11”’) dates back to 1930s, and considered as the first barrels shaped movement with sweep seconds. This historic, 15 jewels mechanical hand wound movement beats at the rate of 18,800 vph and has no intermediate wheel and no friction spring. Power reserve is approximately 42 hours.

This historically important Swiss mechanical movement is housed in an 18K rose gold cintrée curvex shaped case measuring 33×44 mm and thickness is 11 mm. The vintage movement is meticulously hand engraved and decorated in golden finish. The gear-train bridge boasts the coat-of-arms of Les Ponts-de-Martel.

The 18 carat rose gold caseback is engraved with limited edition serial number (Produced in 175 numbered pieces), brand name and model name. The finely decorated movement is visible through the sapphire crystal fitted on the case back.

Beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal front glass, the curved, engine-turned dial looks after the time indication with luminous hands. The 12, 3, 6 & 9 hour markers are styled in gold dusted Arabic numerals.
