Edox Les Bémonts Ultra Slim

Edox presents the world’s slimmest calendar watch: the new Les Bémonts Ultra Slim.

For this timepiece, the engineers at Edox have produced an exclusive movement with a scant overall height of 1.4 mm – an in-house development made in the Swiss Jura, and a world record.

Fitted inside an ultra-flat case and affixed to a bracelet of satin-finished and polished stainless steel, this watch looks appropriately coquettish on the wrist.

The expense involved in manufacturing this watch considerably exceeds the cost of a conventional mechanical timepiece. The painstakingly crafted dial with classical hand-applied indices is protected behind an anti-reflective sapphire glass with a brilliance and hardness second only to a diamond.

Seals around the glass, the crown and the back, which is firmly attached to the case with four separate screws, guarantee water resistance to a depth of 50 metres. Each link in the elegant, flexible bracelet consists of four individual elements, precisely screwed together.

The concealed folding clasp enhances the aura of timeless style. The sum of all these high-quality parts is an exquisite watch that is just 4.75 mm slim overall. Such are the attributes of a timepiece destined to make history.
