In 2001, to celebrate 130 years of technical and aesthetic know-how, Longines introduced a commemorative collection, the 30 Millionth Watch.
It is equipped with a new version of the L990 double-barrel automatic calibre which was produced by Longines before being taken up by Nouvelle Lémania.
An engraved cover opens up on the sapphire back, revealing a superb finish and Côtes de Genève decoration. A limited series of 990 numbered watches were produced, with 390 in yellow gold, 300 in white gold and 300 in pink gold.
