Introduced in 2006, the ZENITH Defy Xtreme Open is a stylistic yet robust chronograph wristwatch that comes with specifications of a deep diving instrument. The combination of ultra modern materials such as titanium, Kevlar®, TR90 and a new alloy, Zenithium, makes this watch unbreakable and enable to explore the ocean depths up to 1,000 metres.
It houses the powerful El Primero 4021 SX automatic movement that has been redesigned to meet the most extreme conditions. The movement has exclusive Zenithium Z+ bridges and the rotor is decorated with carbon inserts. Equipped with 39 jewels and with an impressive 50-hour power reserve, this movement indicates hour, minutes, seconds, power reserve and chronograph functions.
Made from black titanium, its massive case measures 46.5mm diameter. Below the curved sapphire crystal glass, you can find a multi-layer dial featuring Hesalite glass, carbon fibre layer and silver-coated dial flange. The unidirectional, rotating graduated bezel in black titanium is decorated with 4 satin-finished titanium screws.
