Swiss luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen has created a special edition Ingenieur to support the activities of The Climate Group. Founded in 2003, this global no-profit organization aims to cut-down carbon emissions so that the phenomena of global warming can be controlled.
The IWC Ingenieur Automatic Climate Action watch (reference IW323402) is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. Based on the IWC Ingenieur Automatic ref. IW323401 released in 2007, this model features a stainless case with a black ceramic bezel. It boasts a white dial and a black fabric strap with yellow stitching.
The stainless steel case-back of the watch is engraved with “IWC SUPPORTS VOLUNTARY ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE” and “CARBON DIOXIDE NEUTRAL COMPANY” to highlight the brand’s commitment towards environment protection. The engine powering this timepiece is the automatic IWC Calibre 80111.
