Seiko Watch Corporation presents four new analog Seiko Brightz solar radio-controlled watches with an easy-to-read Big Date display. The references presently available are SAGA013, SAGA015, SAGA017 and SAGA021.
Each of these timepieces houses the Seiko 8B43 Solar Radio Controlled Quartz movement. They stand out with a large date window at 6 o’clock. This date display changes quickly after midnight. Also, it automatically recognizes the large and small months and displays the date correctly.
By implanting metal parts in the frame of the date display part of the dial that is three-dimensionally molded and the fan-shaped day display part, the three-dimensional effect and quality of the dial are further enhanced.
This radio-controlled wristwatch from the Seiko Brightz collection receives standard radio waves that convey highly accurate time information with an error of only 1 second in 100,000 years and keeps accurate time. In addition, since it is a solar type that converts light such as sunlight and fluorescent lamps into electric energy and drives it, battery replacement is not required.
The Seiko Brightz Big Date Solar Radio Watch is available in black, brown, blue and white dial versions.
This model is a magnetic resistant watch (JIS magnetic resistant watch type 1). In the unlikely event that the hands are misaligned, the “automatic hand position correction function” corrects the hands to the correct position every minute for the second hand and every 12 hours for the hour and minute hands.
When you go abroad, it is equipped with a “time difference correction function” that allows you to set the time to the local time without stopping the clock. The date and day of the week display is automatically corrected even when the time difference is corrected so that it crosses the date line.
Although it has a full range of functions, it is compact in size (39.3mm diameter) and comfortable to wear.
