The new Seiko Spring Drive Moon Phase SNR017J1 is a new iteration of an award winning Spring Drive watch.
Introduced in 2006, the Seiko Spring Drive moon phase watch (SNR011J1) won the “Golden Balance Wheel” award 2008 by Uhren-Magazin, Germany. It was the winner in the “Up to 5,000 Euro” category. To celebrate this achievement, the brand presents a new interpretation of this watch.
The moon phase watch is a celebrated model in the Spring Drive collection. The new limited edition reference (SNR017/ SNR017J1) features a stainless steel case with 42.3mm diameter. It comes with a black glossy dial with applied baton hour markers, dauphine-shaped hour and minute hands, power reserve display, moon-phase indicator and central seconds hand with crescent counterweight.
The case-back is fixed with six screws and features limited edition number and other details. The transparent sapphire crystal case-back allows the view of the spring drive movement.
The Seiko Caliber 5R67 boasts fine finishing details according to the highest standards of luxury watchmaking. The bridge and rotor are decorated with a unique pattern symbolizing the Spring Drive circle concept. The sliding wheel at the heart of the movement is highlighted in gold and visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Once fully-wound, this Spring Drive automatic winding movement provides a power reserve of 72 hours.
The Seiko Spring Drive SNR017 is a limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide.
