With this precious mechanical timepiece, Swiss watch brand JUVENIA pays tribute to Shaduli, the mythical Mother of Tigers from Hinduism’s sacred Mahabharata.
The JUVENIA Mère des Tigres watch features an 18 carat yellow gold outer case measuring 44.50 mm diameter and set with 76 diamonds. The front cover of the watch is hand-engraved with an illustration of a mother tiger playing with her two lovely young cubs in the wild and case back is engraved with Shaduli in old Sanskrit. The inner case of the watch, also crafted from 18 carat yellow gold, measures 27mm and is set with 48 diamonds and 12 rubies.
Powering the JUVENIA Mère des Tigres watch is a hand-engraved and skeletonised Juvenia 1105 manual winding movement with 42-hour power reserve. Thanks to the additional hand engraved pocket watch case in gold, this collector’s timepiece can also be converted to a pocket watch.
