Introduced in 2004, the Airman Special is a watch for purists and Airman Aficionados. Like the original Glycine world clocks of the 1950s, the Airman Special has a 24-hour display with two time zones.

The watch’s dial is rendered accordingly: dark blue at the top for the night time hours and light blue at the bottom for the daytime hours. The Airman Special has a diameter of 46 millimetres and is equipped with an ETA 2893 movement and a domed sapphire glass with magnifying lens. The watch is waterproof to 200 metres. The edition was limited to 200 watches.
