In 2006, SEIKO introduced two new Spring Drive GMT (SNR007 & SNR009) models.
With its high accuracy and complete energy autonomy, Spring Drive is the perfect watch for the traveler.
With the addition of the 24-hour hand, the SEIKO Spring Drive GMT offers easy time zone adjustment. Just by turning the crown, a different time zone can be set without affecting the precision on the second hand. The power reserve indicator is set deep into the dial to allow the time-of-day and 24-hour hand to glide over the dial surface, thereby maintaining the integrity of the original design.
The SEIKO Spring Drive GMT is available in two dial versions, featuring applied hour-markers in polished steel. Both models feature stainless steel case, measuring 43mm diameter and 13.5mm thickness. Reference SNR007 features a silver white dial and SNR009 has a black dial. Its bezel is extremely polished.

These timepieces feature luminous hour and minute hands, central seconds hand, red-colored centre hand for second time-zone/GMT, date window at 3 o’clock and a power reserve indicator.
The case is topped with a flat sapphire crystal glass with AR coating. Rated for a power reserve of 72 hours, the Spring Drive GMT caliber 5R66 automatic movement is visible through the transparent caseback.
