Launched in 2003, this timepiece honors Charlie Parker, the pioneer of modern Jazz.
The edition was limited to 1355 watches, representing a numerical code for Bird. 1 stands for the number one of modern Jazz, 35 for the birthday he never reached and 55 for the year of his death: 1955.
The individual numbers from 0001/1355 to 1355/1355 are engraved on the case back under a portrait of Charlie Parker and his saxophone together with the imprint of his signature. At 4 o’clock the dial shows the word «bird». Jazz until 4 in the morning.
The Charlie Parker Jazz Watch is equipped with a mechanical, self-winding movement with red rotor, the patented High-Mech emblem of Oris. The case consists of four joined and screwed parts – an exquisite work of art in stainless steel. Its «Jazz» style is emphasized by the raised numerals on the black dial under the curved, spherically cut sapphire crystal.
The watch, water resistant to 30m, with date window, is completed by a black leather strap with Louisiana croco pattern.
