Introduced in 1997, this limited edition automatic watch pays tribute to Alfred McCoy Tyner, the great American jazz pianist and composer.
Made of stainless steel, this cushion-shaped watch features a black dial with ivory colored Arabic numeral hour-markers. The Oris McCoy Tyner Jazz watch was limited to 555 pieces. Its dial also hosts a subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o’ clock and the date display at 6 o’ clock.
Secured with four screws, the stainless steel case back features the signature of McCoy Tyner. The case-back also displays the inscription “Oris Jazz Limited Edition 1997”.
The McCoy Tyner Limited Edition Jazz Watch 1997 is equipped with Oris 643 automatic movement. Based on the Cal. ETA 2836-2, this 27 jewel calibre has a power reserve rating of 38 hours. The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters.
