Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT (with caliber 1128)

The Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT comes in a 41mm diameter case made of stainless steel or 18K yellow gold. The Omega 1128 movement powering this timepiece is based on the ETA 2892-A2 automatic calibre. It displays hour, minute, seconds, date and GMT (second time zone).

Introduced in 1998, the Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT reference 2534.50.00 features a stainless steel case and a nine-row bracelet. Launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the Omega Seamaster collection, this model spotlights a black wave pattern dial. This anniversary series is also available with a black rubber or leather strap. The case is mounted with a bi-color rotating GMT bezel with 24-H scale.

Subsequently, the brand created a white wave pattern dial version featuring stainless steel case and a matching Speedmaster style bracelet. Its reference is 2538.20.00. It is equipped with a monotone GMT bezel in steel with 24H markings in black.

In 1999, Omega introduced a luxurious Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT variant featuring an 18K yellow gold case and a dark blue wave pattern dial. This model also features a yellow gold GMT bezel with 24H markings. This model is available in two versions: the first one with a matching 18K yellow gold bracelet (with nine rows) and the second variant with a leather strap.

In 2000, Omega launched a special edition Seamaster 300 M GMT watch to honor Gerry Lopez (Mr. Pipeline), the celebrated American surfer.

Limited to 999 pieces, the Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT Gerry Lopez Edition watch features a stainless steel case, steel bracelet, black wave pattern dial, and steel caseback decorated with hibiscus flowers and the islands of Hawaii.

All the above mentioned Omega Seamaster 300 M GMT watches feature a date window at 3 o’ clock. The hour and minute hands are sword-shaped. A centrally positioned, spear-shaped red hand indicates the second time zone/GMT. The centre seconds hand is lollipop shaped.
