In 2006, SEIKO introduced the Sportura 1/100th second chronograph, a high-performance sports timepiece designed specifically for the world of motor sport. This remarkable timepiece has the iconic Sportura easy-to-read dial, a sleek aerodynamic contour and a unique dial layout, designed to help accurate times to be read easily and quickly.
This 1/100 second Retrograde Chronograph features a stainless steel case measuring 43mm diameter and 10mm thickness. Water resistant to 100 meters, it houses Seiko Cal.7T82 quartz chronograph movement. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet, the SEIKO Sportura SPC001 model boasts a Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN) coated fixed bezel with 5 to 60 markings.
It has a black dial with the date window at 3 o’ clock, the retro-grade 40 minute chronograph counter at 6 o’ clock, the small seconds at 9 o’ clock, the chronograph centre-seconds hand and the 1/100 sec totalizer at 12 o’ clock. The baton-shaped hour and minute hands feature Lumbrite luminescent coating.
